Figuring out that I'm gay - episode 2

To be clear: Leon and I are really good friends. He was the one who told me about this site and I asked if I could promote his story. I hope none of my readers react badly to Leon because he's a great guy.

After class, Mackenzie was still on my mind. I met Lizzie for lunch. When I met her she was with all her other friends, talking and laughing. I walked up to her, kissed her and said, "Hey baby, what are we doing for lunch?" She looked at me and smiled, she said, "I thought you could treat me to the subway." I smiled at her and said, “Sure, go ahead”

So we all went to the mall, went to the local subway, had lunch and went back to college. On the way back to college, a guy attacked Mackenzie for being gay. Lizzie looked at me as if to say stop it. I walked up to the guy and said, "Hey, why don't you go fuck yourself before I break your face?" The guy left shortly after I said that, but gave me a dirty look before he left. I asked Mackenzie, “Are you okay?” He looked at me and said, “Yes. Thanks,” I said, “That’s cool, man.”

Since I was really bored in class, I started listening to music on my phone. McKenzie asked me if I was listening to Professor Green and I said, “Yes. He is a good artist. He turned all the way to me and said, "Do you mind if I listen to this too?" I pulled out one of my headphones and gave it to him, so class continued and it was finally time to go home. We all collected our coursework and textbooks and left the classroom.

As I walked down the stairs I said to Mackenzie, "Do you want to drive me home?" Mackenzie looked at me and said, "Are you sure you want to drive me home?" Remember that I'm gay. I looked at him with a strange expression and said, "What does this have to do with a ride home?" I have a lot of gay friends. So that’s cool”

So when we got to the parking lot, I unlocked my car and we both got in. Mackenzie turned to me and said, "Why haven't we started driving yet?" I turned to him in the passenger seat and said, "We're just waiting for Lizzie." As Lizzie got into my car she said: "Hey, baby, do you want a ride home?" Mackenzie said, "Yeah, I hope you don't mind?" Lizy laughed and said, "Not everyone is everything." So I drove Mackenzie home, and when he When I got out, I rolled down the window and said, “We’re going to watch a DVD with a friend tonight.” Do you want to come along? (Points - my address)" he smiled at me and for some reason I liked it when he smiled at me, but at that moment I didn't think much of it. He said, “See you later”

So I left and Lizzie said to me, "That was very nice of you." I said, "Well, I kind of feel sorry for that guy. I haven't seen him with his friends all day and I think he's cool," and so on. The way to Lizzie's house was full of boring small talk. When I got to her place, we kissed goodbye and I drove home. When I got home the house was empty as usual, so I made myself something to eat and watched TV until six. All my friends came, including Lizzie and Mackenzie. We all watched the film and had a lot of fun. When the movie ended I felt like going to the bathroom so I went to the bathroom and had a drink. As I walked down the stairs, Mackenzie asked, "Can you show me where the bathroom is?" So I said, "Sure, follow me," so McKenzie got up from his seat and followed me upstairs and I showed him in Towards the bathroom. He looked at me and said, "Actually, I don't need the bathroom, I wanted to be alone with you." I looked at Mackenzie with the same strange look I had given him earlier that day in college and asked, "Why did you want to?" Do you think I'm alone?" Mackenzie came closer to me and said, "So I can do this" and kissed me. After a second I broke the kiss and said, "Oh my God, did you just kiss me?" What the fuck do you think you're doing? I walked up and down the hallway saying, “Answer me!” in a very quiet tone so others wouldn’t hear us. McKenzie kept looking at me as we walked and said, "I think it's time for me to go." I grabbed his hand and said, "That's cool, just don't kiss me again," so we walked down the stairs, as if nothing had happened, and about an hour later everyone left except Lizzie. We were talking and I said, "Lizzie, you know I love you, right?" Lizzie looked at me and said, "Yes, of course." I looked at the floor and said, "I think we should stop, to see us." Lizzie jumped up from her seat and said, "What!" So I repeated what I said and Lizzie said, "I don't care because I cheated on you with Mark." I laughed and Lizzie did said, "What the hell is so funny?" I said, "I've known for a long time that you cheated on me." Lizzie grabbed her coat and left. The best thing about breaking up with her was that I no longer had to tell myself it was just a thing and I felt free for the first time in a VERY long time.
